Letterhead: wholesale price

A typical US business buyer pays a median of $0.40 per unit at small order quantities, falling to $0.05 at volume. These medians come from published supplier pricing. Treat them as a starting point for a sourcing conversation rather than a binding quote.

Median price by order quantity

500–999 units$0.40
1,000–4,999 units$0.26
5,000–9,999 units$0.11
10,000–24,999 units$0.07
25,000–99,999 units$0.05
100,000+ units$0.05

What moves the price

For letterhead, the drivers are paper count, number of parts, paper weight, binding type, print method, size, material, backing — the same item can land at either end of the band depending on how those are specified.

Mid-range wholesale letterhead pricing is most affected by paper stock and finish, with premium linen/laid stocks costing materially more than plain bond or uncoated stock, and full-color print costing more than simple black-only or one-side print. Realistic US-facing routes include trade printers and bulk office-supply print services such as Staples, GotPrint, Printleaf, OJ Graphix, and 4over4; public pricing shows steep per-unit declines at higher quantities, but very high-volume letterhead often requires quote-based pricing rather than a published table.

Also known as: business stationery, company letterhead, headed paper.
